Obviously I mean someone other than your husband. Which do you tend to find to be hotter, married guys, single guys, or is there no difference?
Please be honest. Crushes are just crushes and nothing to hide or be ashamed of, even if you're married.Married women, when you have a harmless crush, is it more likely to be on a single or married man?
I have noticed it's married men. I think because the women can relate they are married the women is married. If something were to happen they wouldn't really have to worry about eachother being obsessed or anything. And you want what you can't have.Married women, when you have a harmless crush, is it more likely to be on a single or married man?
I've had crushes on other guys. They've all been single. Never went anywhere. Harmless. Even if he told me he had a crush on me. I'd say that's nice. I love my husband. He trusts me and I trust him. My husband and I have even talked about it in the past. He has had crushes as well. I think it is healthy to communicate and have trust.
I do not believe that crushes are harmless. Sorry.
Anytime you are thinking about a man other than your husband, it is wrong and you have to be careful. A lot of affairs start this way.
I guess I am old fashioned but i have also been there and I know how NOT harmless they can be.
NO DIFFERENCE
RIGHT NOTW ITS A MARRIED MAN..I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING...BUT I DO LIKE TO SNEAK A OCCASIONAL GLANCE
I SEE HIM 3-4 TIMES A YEAR AT CHURCH FUNCTIONS/SPORTS GAMES
honestly i wouldn't know if they are married or single, because i never take it any further than just catching a quick glance. I wouldn't even call it a crush.... I only have eyes for my handsome husband!
doesn't matter, if he's cute he's cute!
married man and his name starts with M

Is forming an emotional bond with someone else while married cheating?
What do you think? Made me feel guilty. Is forming an emotional bond with someone else while married cheating?
It is cheating, it is just as bad if not worse then having a sexual relationship with someone else. An emotional bond is another far more deeper form of intimacy that should be cherished and shared only with your spouse. If you turned the situation around on yourself, how would you feel about it? I mean really put yourself in the other persons shoes and think about it.Is forming an emotional bond with someone else while married cheating?
i've been into this situation before and i really regretted it. so, it's better for you to stop immediately before u start losing everything like i am right now. u will never know as it hasn't happen to you yet. my advice, stop any bond with the opposite sex n sit down n have a talk wit yr spouse
SERIOUSLY. Emotional affairs can be MORE damaging than physical ones. PLEASE end it now if it's still going on. I wrecked a five-year relationship with someone I truly cared about and had a son with just because I thought it was innocent until it was too late.
My husband started an ';emotional affair'; with my best friend almost 4 years ago. When I repeaditly told him to stop, he would not...to make a long story short, we have been divorced for 2 years and he is now married to my EX- best friend.
I am now in an almost two year relationship and love my boyfriend very much, but am starting to have an ';emotional affair'; with my newly divorced ex-boyfriend (who I don't think I ever stopped loving). I know I am not married, but am I any better than my exes?
You can't help who you find an emotional bond with. It is just there. If you are unhappy with your marriage talk about it with your spouse and tell them about this other person. Let them know that you WANT to work on your marriage. If you feel that your unhappy with your spouse and you feel that you CANNOT change your relationship for the better then speak with him/her and tell her what you are feeling. If you are considering divorce then let them know. Now, not telling someone about his other person would be considered cheating and inconsiderate. Do what you feel would be in the best interest of you AND your spouse. Good Luck!
It all depends on your definition of an ';Emotional bond';.
If you want to sleep with your other other or get more intimate, then it's a good idea to back off.
-OR-
If you're maintaining a friendly distance with a reasonable minimum of romance, even then you're still in the clear.
I have a similar version of this in my love life. The ONLY difference is that I'm not married. So I know a thing or two about this.
you mean with somebody of different gender right,WHY do you feel the need to BOND with this third person, seems to me you cant with hubby. When you are sure you didnt do anything wrong then why feel guilty or do you WANT it to take it further then you should.Bottomline is this person worth it to possible ruin your marriage
For someone to say it's worse than sex is dumb. sometimes you can't help the way you feel. it becomes a problem when you tempt yourself and act on these emotions. everyone gets tempted, but if you prevail then you should be proud of yourself and for you simply feeling gulity (pending that you hadn't acted on these emotions) then you should give yourself a pat on the back.
Have feelings for another while you're currently married is fine. However, acting on those feelings is not. Perhaps you should question your marriage. Are you seeking out emotional bonds with other males because you are unhappy with your husband?
Absolutely it is. If you can't do it, say it and share your feelings with your spouse about it, it's cheating.
Consider how you would feel if you found out your spouse had an emotional bond with someone else. Would that be considered cheating in your heart?
Yes it is cheating, it's called emotional cheating. Believe me if the other two people in this relationship found out they'd be hurt and angry. You need to find someone else to talk to end the relationship.
It is called an emotional affair. Most affairs start out this way. Technically, you are not cheating, just working your way up to it.
if its of the opposite sex or same for that fact yes. when your married you can enjoy friends that's all it can be or it's cheating
The advice I have to give u on this is: Watch your thoughts, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become your character.
well lust is cheating if you see this person as you would your wife then that is cheating lusting in the heart. so yes you are a cheater.
Of course it is. Even worse than casual sex.
It sure is!
no.

Will getting married in December cause me to lose my tax return if my fiance makes a lot?
My fiance makes 60K+ a year. Will that cause me to lose my tax return, filing separately OR together? Will getting married in December cause me to lose my tax return if my fiance makes a lot?
Yes he will!
Also if he has bad credit it will go on you or vice versa!
File separately! Will getting married in December cause me to lose my tax return if my fiance makes a lot?
Yes, you will lose it unless you file seperately. What matters most is the date you are married. If possible, get married in Jan. and save yourself the trouble. And, if you have kids, getting married will have a penalty. You will lose EIC regardless of how you file, seperately or together, and if you claim head of household your withholding for that will go down as well.
If your fiance makes considerably more money than you she is taxed at a higher marginal rate on the last dollar. By filing a joint return, you will dilute her high tax income with your low tax income resulting in a lower overall tax bill for you as a couple. Look at the tax liability and ignore the refund. Refunds are just what you overpaid.
If you have children and your income is $35K or less, your refund may be less if you marry. However, your fiance may benefit from a joint return, especially if you have children.
You and he may want to do your returns now to see the tax impact of getting married before the end of the year.
It could, but not necessarily - it depends on circumstances you don't state in your question.
If for example, you have been getting EIC, you won't be eligible any more for that, whether you file separately or a joint return.
And by the way, it's a reFUND, not a reTURN.lips

So if some gays are already married in CA their Marry Certificates will be made invalid?
See it on the bright side we're preventing that God destroys California like Sodom. So if some gays are already married in CA their Marry Certificates will be made invalid?
Most likely...yes.So if some gays are already married in CA their Marry Certificates will be made invalid?
really?
that is the bright side?
does that mean your side will simply shut up about it if youa re satisfied it is done now?
or will you be back for more, taking more and more rights away from minorities by majority vote, counter to every principle of our government, until we are a theocracy for Christians only?
I don't know about the US but here in the UK it is extremely difficult to make laws retrospective. Even the dept. of transport can't do that.

Is ring be the best thing a not yet married couple should have? What would be the advantages if you have one?
My boyfriend and I were planning to have a ring on our 1st anniversary. Would it be a good idea? Or any idea please.. would it strengthenn the commitment that we have??Is ring be the best thing a not yet married couple should have? What would be the advantages if you have one?
My boyfriend and I got rings for our anniversary.
Did it strengthen out commitment? No, our commitment still remains the same, but we did it because it was something that we both felt was a good idea.
My mom also really wanted to see it happen haha :)Is ring be the best thing a not yet married couple should have? What would be the advantages if you have one?
Engagement ring ? well it normally follows a proposal so unless there is a specific reason for not getting one for a whole year then you should get it on the proposal or hold off the proposal for the year until the ring is bought.
Hope that makes sense as I am not sure your question made sense to me, sorry..

Why are married women who already have children allowed to be surrogateS?
in some countries this was kind of a law. WHy do you think this law was madE?
Why are married women who already have children allowed to be surrogateS?
1. It proves you can physically/emotionally/mentally handle childbirth.
2. There's a better chance you will be able to actually give the child up at birth, considering a lot of women without birthing experience don't understand the bond it creates.
3. If you are married you will have a spouse to care for you during the pregnancy.
Hope that helps. Why are married women who already have children allowed to be surrogateS?
I dont fully understand your questions. But in some places, like some states in Australia, surrogacy is not actually legal at all.
But also, I remember hearing that it is better for a woman who has already had her children to be a surrogate, because for women who have not already had children, there are risks during the surrogacy which may later mean that the surrogate may not be able to have her own children. SO for that reason they often go for women who have already had children.
These women already have their own children so there's less likelihood they will want to keep the baby. Also, married women are usually more grounded and therefore more responsible as far as taking care of their bodies and the baby.
And I think married mothers who do it, want to help other women experience the joy of motherhood.
experience counts!
Probably it has to do with money.

if your husbands a citizen (by that im assuming he has an actual britsh citzenship and works full time) then i dont see why you shouldn't be able to immigrate. if you got healthcare skill then the NHS is going to want you. theres a major staff shortage here and ther'e in depserate need for any hospital workers. just dont come here expecting to live of the welfare state. we got enough britsh people doing that already.

Why did my dad start checking the oil and water in my moms car before they were married and still checks it?
He does that so when he fiddles with the brakes it wont look suspicious! Why did my dad start checking the oil and water in my moms car before they were married and still checks it?
Because it's the right thing to do.
To keep your mom from getting dirty.
Because he knows how.
Because he was trying to show your mom what he's able to do.
He was raised that this is what a man should do not a woman.
The list of reasons go on and on.
Why not just ask your dad?Why did my dad start checking the oil and water in my moms car before they were married and still checks it?
He started because he wanted to show her how he could take care of her, he still does it because he still wants to take care of her. That and most men deal with car stuff.
I agree with holeemel, you have posted this question several times before. Are you worried that he's trying to sabotage her car or are you just a troll?
Because he wants the car to be in tip top shape?
Didn't you ask this last week too? You must be either bored to death or mentally challenged.
So that the car doesn''t break down.

Do you all think it is possible to stay married forever and be faithful throughout the entire marriage?
I am just curious to know what people really think, and If any of you are married (happily,) what is your secret?Do you all think it is possible to stay married forever and be faithful throughout the entire marriage?
Of course, but you have to work on the marriage. My grandparents were married for over 75 years (my grandfather died last year) and they were very happy together. They were also completely faithful to each other as they deeply respected their marriage vows. Would that happen today? It is less likely as people are more concerned about themselves than in making sacrifices for another person.Do you all think it is possible to stay married forever and be faithful throughout the entire marriage?
Hi I'm happily married for just over 26 yrs now. The secret, is being open, honest, trustworthy %26amp; having good communication skills. My Nana told me on my Wedding day to 'never let the sun set on an argument' %26amp; ';apologise if you are wrong. Yes we do have arguments %26amp; different ideas about things, but we settle them by negotiation or just accept we have different points of view rather than he's right or I'm right.
A marriage requires teamwork every single day. Tend it like a garden it will flourish, ignore it %26amp; it will wither %26amp; die.
The other thing to know is that just because you're married to someone doesn't mean you are Siamese twins. If he wants to go fishing with his buddies for the w/end he does. If he wants to play sport once or twice a week he does. By the same token if I want to go out for a girls night out (usually dinner %26amp; movies), or go shopping with friends I do.
Your partner can be your significant other %26amp; best friend but everyone needs a little 'me time' occasionally.
Yes, I think it is possible to stay faithful and also very likely if the people involved are honest, open and mature.
The secret to happiness is compassion and good communication (although keeping secrets is no a good thing, good communication does not mean telling your significant other everything either.)
It's possible-many people do it. I think more people get divorced from jumping into a marriage too fast then quickly get divorced seeing that as a quick fix. Don't get me wrong-lots of marriages go so bad that simply for safety the 2 need the divorce. My 1st marriage wasn't the smartest-we thought we were perfect together because everything was ';fun.'; Once the seriousness of being adults, work, marriage, etc. set in-it was too much for my wife and she basically freaked out (long story). After years of working on what I did wrong I learned a good marriage needs a good base of honesty, similar basic beliefs, maturity, communication and a desire to work through things as a team. Take away the mushy stuff...think about how a good business runs-always striving to be it's best while keeping an eye on the future. Every house has to be built on a good foundation-otherwise the rest of it will eventually crumble down no matter how well it's constructed. I know these aren't the most beautiful analogies but they give examples of what I believe to be necessary minimums for a good relationship. Eventually you'll need these things to get the both of you through the challenges life throws at you.
It's absolutely possible and some couples have done it and continue to do it daily. You don't often hear about them (particularly here) since it's more exciting and newsworthy to hear about peoples problems. I've been married for 21 years and find our secret to marriage is mutual respect, love and support for each other.
Hi Maggie, WHY NOT ?
And this Q comes back with a reflection of....................
That's why we shouldn't settle anything less for LOVE.
When you chosen someone that you knew were a lil wrong and
settle for it, you'll bound to creates problems
because you don't really loves them DEEPLY in the first place.
Sometimes as in TOO COMFORTABLE with partners

As s/he can says anything s/he wishes till a point they
might degrades and offended you.
That's why I feel sometimes somethings simply just shouldn't
cross the line.
Not everyone can take the things you think you can.
Well I'm not married or engaged. I'm in love with my boyfriend though, and I see us being the old couple waiting at the doctor's office for the new ';Miracle blue pill'; if you get what I mean.
My grandma and papa (grandpa) are happily married for over 70 years now. I swear, they still go at it like bunnies! They laugh and joke around with each other still, hold hands in public and act like they are newly weds. I aim to be like them when I get married, even throughout the years.
Isn't that the whole idea of why you get married??? I have been unfaithful in previous relationships when I was younger, but I would NEVER in my life imagine doing that to my fiance. I guess you just have to meet the right person for you.
Yes I think it is possible, unfortunately it is not too common. It takes two special people to share the type of love that would last that long with complete faithfulness.
Happily on my 4th marriage. The secret... hold hands all the time, kiss every time you see each other, say I love you many times a day and have them be your best friend.
I'm not married but i believe its possible to be faithful and happily married forever
Uh, yeah it's possible. I mean, isn't that kind of the whole point of marriage?
DO you?lips

DO you?
How many friends did you lose when you got married/got pregnant?
Apparently once you get married your friends start to distance themselves and when you get pregant and begin having children even more seem to disappear. Is this true?
I do not have kids btw I was just wondering. How many friends did you lose when you got married/got pregnant?
There is some truth to that. It depends on the friends. For me, the friends I used to party with left, but the ones that I talked to regularly about important things (i.e. mature friends) stuck around. Although even they were distanced once I got married..... It happens to most people to some degree...
I'm pregnant now, and I have really been surprised at how little interest my friends have taken to the baby. I definitely think this is going to alienate them from me even more....

Is it okay to get married the day before Easter Sunday?
This wedding will not be at a church, i'm not religious and my fiance is orthodox so his easter is the following week. I'm wondering if anyone will have a real problem with a wedding the day before Easter though! Is it okay to get married the day before Easter Sunday?
I see no problem.
Besides, Easter falls on a different day every year anyhow. Is it okay to get married the day before Easter Sunday?
Well, it's not a terrible thing, but it may not be the most considerate thing to do to your guests, considering that Easter is often a family-oriented holiday.
Will you have a lot of out-of-town guests? What time of day are you planning the wedding?
If most of your guests will be local, then you're probably not causing too much trouble for anyone. If you have lots of out of town guests, you might consider planning it for early enough in the day that people could fly home on Saturday afternoon.
Alternately, is there a way that your family could host a post-wedding/Easter brunch on Sunday? It might also be a good idea to provide your out of town guests with information on what Easter services will be available in your area. If they know that they can include the wedding, as well as their religious services and the family fun, then they're more likely to all come, and have a great time.
FYI, this situation came up for a friend of mine. She and her sister-in-law usually host Easter, but the SIL will be out of town this weekend, for a wedding tomorrow. They had their Easter party last weekend, which goes to show that those who love you will accommodate the schedule!
Hi and congratulations!
I really don't see a problem with it if the majority of those you are inviting are also non-religious.
If some are religious, and will be going to Easter services the next day, then perhaps they will be leaving the reception a littler earlier than the others. But other than that...I don't see as it would be a problem.
If you aren't religious and it isn't taking place in a church, there shouldn't be any problem. Most non-religious officiants will work any day except major holidays. You can look up officiants in your area at http://www.projectwedding.com or on the local boards at http://talk.theknot.com
There's nothing wrong with it at all. A church wedding can't take place then (there's no Mass permitted between the end of the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday and the Easter Vigil) but since it's not a church, it makes no difference.
I wouldn't think it would be a problem. You just have to think about your guest. Most of them might be going out of town for the long weekend. While others can travel to your wedding. Hopefully you are talking about Easter next year. If you are just send out save the date cards.
Depends on the type of people who you are inviting. If your guest list consists of a lot of very devout christians you might want to reconsidering. However for most people that would but just fine.
It's your wedding get married ANY day, Easter Sunday if you want. Those people that want to come to your wedding will be there for you no matter what day it';s on. Best wishes to you and yours.
I don't think it should be a problem with any religion. I don't believe that the Saturday before Easter is a religious holiday for anyone.
The only issue I could find with that (as a non-religous person), is that then I would be hung-over for Easter dinner at Grandma's. lol. If people don't like it, they don't have to come.
of course it wont be a problem why wont it? Just go for it!! Congratulations and have a wonderful wedding!
I don't find a problem with it. Congrats!!
why wouldnt it be ok?
its not the day of easter. its not a holiday
I don't see why that wouldn't be alright. But that is tomorrow. Are you sure your ready to get married TOMORROW?
yes
i dont think so

My husband and I are married for 13 years?
Our relationship is struggling ...We have 2 kids together (2 and 7).He does not pay attention to me or the kids.....Most of his time he spend in the basement watching Tv or sitting on the internet.
When I try to talk to him about he gets mad at mad and he tells me that I crazy .
I love him but recently I have concerns regarding our releationship.
I sick and tired that I do everything in the house including mowing the grass, taking out the garbage. Please help.My husband and I are married for 13 years?
He is having a crisis.Has he always been this way.The withdrawing from you and the kids is unsettling. Even though he may not be helping out around the house I think he isn't feeling very needed. Loosing himself by watching T.V. on the computer. He seems depressed. Try to get him to an M.D. and discuss while you're there. Show support. Hate to see relationships to end if isn't necessary
My husband and I are married for 13 years?
Sometimes men do not know that we need help.. they just assume everything is going on fine until we blow up one day.. sit down and talk to him about how tired you r getting running after your 2 kids and taking care of the house as well... assign him certain duties (like cleaning the garbage and mowing the grass) and don't do these things ever.. let him handle them, even if he's not doing it 'on time.' Once he gets the feeling that it's his job and you're not going to do it, he will handle it.. he probably thinks that you're doing fine and do not need any help.. tell him you need help and show him which area you want help in. This usually works..
You tried talking, it is not working ....
So you stop mowing the grass ...
If you pay the bills, stop, put him in charge of paying them.
You need to get out and enjoy yourself, even if it is only for two hours...make him care for the children. I know your thinking he will ignore them, but it is hard to ignore a two year old.
You need to give him list of things to do around the house... and get him to do them.
Then if he starts doing some of them ... reward him, hire a sitter or ask a friend to watch the kids. Take hubby out for dinner, maybe find some place to talk, get to know each other all over again.
Grandmother told me, when it comes to men: The way you start off is the way you end up. Therefore, you have always done for your hubby, his role and yours, in the relationship. Why are you tired of it now? Why are you on the computer telling us, instead of him? What should you do? You know what you have to do, confront him with his lazy ways and you stop doing for him so much. Just do you and the kids for a while, till he appreciates you more. Good luck.
Get his attention by stopping all the things you do for him individually, washing his clothes, fixing his lunch, etc. Cut the power to the T.V. and internet. With those two things out of the picture, you might have better luck having a one on one with him. Dance naked in front of him. If none of these things work. Get counciling for yourself and move forward with your life with or with out him.
try talking to him - if that doesn't work - tell him you want marriage counseling - my husband for years said no way to marriage counseling - then I gave him a choice - either I leave or we do marriage counseling and try to make things better. We've only gone to 3 sessions - but its helping to get my concerns across.
Sounds like he needs a rude awakening. He's become super comfortable. You need to plan a girls day out or a day for yourself and just plan it on a night that you know he'll be in (so he can watch the kids). Then get dressed and on your way out, let him know that you're going out. That'll wake his *** up.
I guess you have to try and get him to get out of watching some much TV. and off the net.
family outings may help. or go away for a weekend. see how that works. stop doing everything and let it be.
good luck.
There is nothing you can do. That's him.
People only change if they want to change themselves. Make a fulfilling life for yourself outside the marriage for yourself and include your children. Good Luck
Reminds me why I divorced my ex husband. He was way too in the comfort zone... no counselling sessions helped either... he was a born selfish bastid.
Good Luck xx

Is it better to check married, but withhold at a higher single rate on the W-4?
I recently got married and we are trying to figure out the best way to do our taxes. We were going to claim married and have my husband claim 1, and I would claim 0. We just don't want to have to pay in at the end of the year. So I am wondering if we should claim married, but withhold at the higher single rate and then both claim 0. Will that make a huge difference on how much they take out monthly? Is it better to check married, but withhold at a higher single rate on the W-4?
Have done tax work for 36 years and applaud your way of thinking. The little bite out of each paycheck is a lot easier than a great big bite at tax time. You are both working so use the tables on the reverse of the form W-4, which is for two earner households. Single and zero should put you in refund territory at tax time.Is it better to check married, but withhold at a higher single rate on the W-4?
I am assuming that you plan to file a joint return which normally would be best and that you will use standard deductions. Unless both your salaries are very large, normally the one with the smaller salary should claim O and claim 1 on the large salary. If you really want to be safe go to taxact.com and down load a free tax program. Do a practice tax return with the estimated withholding using those numbers. Keep in mind the first year you will have withholding amounts from when you were single and those should have been larger any way.
It's very difficult to answer without knowing all of your income %26amp; deductions. However, a good rule of thumb is that the higher income earner claim married 2, and the lower income earner withhold 0 at the single rate. Since it is so close to the end of the year, you can't hurt too much at this point %26amp; then can use your income tax return to guage for next year.
To see exactly what will be withheld, here are the official tables that employers use. Find your table--start about page 40 (i.e. married paid weekly/biweekly/monthly).

My best friend is getting married in Vegas - bachelorette party ideas?
My best friend has always wanted to get married in Vegas - she's got family there and she's been to the city many many times. I've never been, and since I'm her maid of honor, I'm responsible for some kind of ';last night out'; festivities. There will probably only be 4 of 5 of us girls, but I don't know what to do! STRIPPERS ARE OUT! Her fiance is doing something with his boys that night, and they agreed, no strippers. She's not big into shows or anything and her theory is that Vegas is for drinking and gambling, but I don't want that night to be really lame! Anyone have any ideas? My best friend is getting married in Vegas - bachelorette party ideas?
You can rent a party bus. Also, plan a spa day. The casino spa's out there are to die for. There are clubs at every casino. If you do decide on a show, check out Thunder from Down Under. Its a male review and its worth it should you decide. Its hard to say if she doesnt want to see a show or go see half dressed men.My best friend is getting married in Vegas - bachelorette party ideas?
Ive never been to vegas either, but maybe you guys could go to a spa, and a really nice place out to eat???just a suggestion! %26lt;3 Tell your friend congrats!!
I was in Vegas about 6 months ago. My roommate and I went and spent a dollar in ever casino that we walked through and then took a fun picture at each. That was the best part of our trip, just walking up and down the strip. Most of the good clubs are expensive to get into, so if you do that, pick one. They have a lot of good ones, look at vegas.com, they even have a special section for bachelorette party ideas.
My advice, risk looking funny with comfy shoes if you do decide to walk the strip because your feet will be killing you by the end of the night.
The tram is a cheap way to get around the strip, and don't miss out on the rides at the top of the Stratosphere, the one that shoots straight up is a blast if you like that sort of thing.
Try the poker room. With 5 of you you could land a table pretty much to yourselves. Then you get the drinking, gambling, and chatting thing all at once
go shopping... thats always fun... watch girly fun movies... act all girly... sleepover party!!!
Vegas.com will help you out with that. they give you clubs and other place to go.

What states can you get married in at age 13 and pregnant?
no i am not pregnant. i want to know what states are possible to get married in if you are pregnant/had a baby at 13 without parental consent. What states can you get married in at age 13 and pregnant?
OMFG Piper, polygamy is illegal for one thing, so no you can't legally marry more than one person in Utah. And there are NO states where you can legally get married at 13.
God people are stupid...What states can you get married in at age 13 and pregnant?
Georgia if bride can confirm pregnancy
Louisiana must apply and courts will take pregnancy into consideration
New Jersey can if pregnant
West Virginia has special provisions for pregnant underage brides
No states allow you to marry at 13 for any reason with or without parental consent. I think you'd have to find a third world country to get married at 13. Most places frown on children getting married.
Here is a web site that gives all the states and their laws on getting married...
http://www.coolnurse.com/marriage_laws.htm
Utah marriage laws are lax because there's some polygamy out there. So it would be utah
New Hampshire.
none, got to be 16 with parental consent, 18without it

If you get a marriage licence, but don't end up getting married, do you need to cancel the license?
I know there are lots of searchable public records and stuff, so would you have to cancel a license? Does just getting a license make you married, or do you have to go through with the marriage? Does the county office match up stuff later, or just assume you're married if you get a license? If you get a marriage licence, but don't end up getting married, do you need to cancel the license?

She and her dad can work it out. I don't see where it's any of your business. Why does your ';niece'; not ask herself?
Having said that, the usual ';Daddy's Little Girl'; songs really are vomit inducing -- Butterfly Kisses and that genre.
How about something more cheerful instead of depressing?
';Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World'; by Israel K...of Hawaii
';Do Nothing Til You Hear from Me'; by Harry Connick Jr.
';At Last'; by Etta James
';God Bless the Broken Road'; by Rascal Flatts
';Bad Reputation'; by Freedy Johnston
';Pure'; by the Lightning Seeds
Here are a few really good ones: ';I Loved Her First'; by Heartland, ';Butterfly Kisses'; by Bob Carlisle, ';The Angel in My Arms'; by Gloria Sklerov and Barbara Rothstein, and ';Cinderella'; by Steven Curtis Chapman.
Hope this helps!

Would you want to know if your ex was planning to get married if there were small children involved?
How much should you know, or not know as a form of respect if you are no longer together, but there are children involved. I had to hear that my ex is getting married from my daughter. She's 7. Should I even care, or consider it as a form of disrespect?Would you want to know if your ex was planning to get married if there were small children involved?
I think you have the right to know who will be influencing your children. She/he will be their step parent and no doubt act in that way. You would inform your ex if you changed day care or school or Dr's wouldn't you? You should have been told out of courtesy as you are the parent of his/her children and hence are bound in some way for life.Would you want to know if your ex was planning to get married if there were small children involved?
No, what your ex does is HIS business not your's. He is no longer married to you so there is no reason for him to tell you what is going on in HIS personal life. The only reason you would care or consider it as a form of disrespect is if you were petty, immature and jealous of a man you were no longer married to.
But in my case I did know that my ';ex'; (we were never married) was getting married because our daughter was the flower girl in the wedding and I was invited to the wedding
He should have informed you because you have young children. His marriage is going to impact their life. You need to know about his new wife because your children will be spending time in their home. Discuss these issues with your ex as two mature people. If he starts to act like a vengeful idiot then you may have to get your lawyer involved to renegotiate the custody arrangements.
I don't think it was disrespectful that your ex told your daughter, its your ex, not your daughters, your ex is open with your daughter because the daughter is still part of his/her life, your not, your just the other parent, you really shouldn't care, as tough as it may be sometimes just act as if you were happy for the other parent, good luck.
I though that usually in a court order it is required that they give you notice that they intend to marry. If not, then I'd say out of common courtesy he should tell you. If he chooses not to, then there's really nothing you can do about it except find out her name and identifying information and have her background checked.
well i am sure you knew they were together for a while if they are getting marreid now. I am sure you knew she was already around the kids. So yeah anythign else is not your business. But if this was a secret for years and you had no idea your ex was even seeing anyone then yes you have a point. but if you knew already...which I am sure you did...then it should not be a big deal or any of your concern...move on...someone will make you happy one day
My teenagers told me when my ex was getting married. Since he wasn't respectful to me when we were married it would have been a stretch to expect respect after the divorce. You obviously have small children and need to know about any changes in his visitation with them.
You can consider it whatever. The 2 of you are not toegether anymore. He is fcking another woman. He does not owe you respect.
It is not a form of disrespect to you. However, since you and him have kids involved in this he should have told you.

What will Governor Palin do if Levi changes his mind about getting married?
A) Order the National Guard to destroy his house.
B) Ban him for life from playing hockey in Alaska
C) Dangle a cushy government job in front of him to change his mind
D) OtherWhat will Governor Palin do if Levi changes his mind about getting married?
She won't do anything except advise her daughter to get a family law attorney and have all custody, visitation, and child support agreements documented through the courts.
It's called personal responsibility, folks. He has the right to change his mind, but he still has to support his child for 18 years. Governor Palin isn't going to ';make'; him do anything. What will Governor Palin do if Levi changes his mind about getting married?
D - It will be after the election before you know that one way or another thats they way they look at this stuff
The GOP machine will just make it a good ol' NRA funded shotgun wedding!
d) her and mccain will give him a lot of money to stay with bristol!!

How much financial aid can I get for my son. I am married, but partially disabled.?
I have MS, but can currently work with insurance funded disability. I am wondering how this will play into seeking financial aid for my son. He' s only 13, but I'm thinking about it now.How much financial aid can I get for my son. I am married, but partially disabled.?
Be sure to visit the FAFSA web site. Its the free application for federal student aid. When he is a senior, or sometimes even a junior, you can fill this out and they will tell you how much he can get from the govt to go to school. The guidance counselors at his high school will be able to help with this. Also, there are programs out there at colleges that assist students with life situations, such as single parent, disabled parent, low income, etc. A good example would the EOF, educational opportunity fund program. I dont know where u live, but on the east coast, alot of colleges have this and it is extremely helpful. Its good to plan ahead...your son should be thankful!! A good start would be to talk with the guidance counselors when he enters the later grades of high school. good luck
I've found some good information here...

Good Luck. How much financial aid can I get for my son. I am married, but partially disabled.?
All student Federal and St6ate financial aid is determined by the FAFSA form. You can only apply in January of the year that he will start school. Need-based programs are just that, based on your household's total income, and yes, your now husband's income will have to be included in that total if you are married at that time. Loans are readily available to most everyone.
Also, some food for thought: Our current President is going to be doing an overhaul and rebuilding of the Financial Aid system in the US over the next decade or so to make more middle class students and parents eligible for aid. So things will most likely change drastically before your son is old enough for college.
I agree with delirious. Don't forget to have your son apply for a ton of scholarships when he hits his senior year in high school. There may even be one for children of a parent with MS -- they have a scholarship for just about everything! And scholarships = free money, which is always a good thing.
