Do married soldiers receive housing allowance while in Basic Training?

I'm married and just joined the army and was wondering will be entitled to BAH (I think that's what it's called). Or do I get that once at my duty station and not in government housing?Do married soldiers receive housing allowance while in Basic Training?
yes you will... during bct and ait it will be based on your home of record then once you get to your duty station its based on that zip code here is the site whre you can look up how much you will receive based on the zip code

Yes, while in basic you will get BAH based on the location of your home of record. The rate varies from place to place.





When you reach your duty station you will continue to receive BAH - if you live on-post, it will show up on your LES as both a credit and a subtraction, if off post, it will be based on the prices in the surrounding community.
You will get it while in basic, you will also get it in AIT. It sometimes takes a couple of checks to process though. It depends on the date you start and when the paperwork actually gets processed.

It's paid right from your first day. However, it might be a couple paydays before it starts showing up in your pay.
