I heard that a bachelor is more likely to die then a married man ?

I heard that if a man never marries he is more likely to die. Is this because the body need contact with another body?I heard that a bachelor is more likely to die then a married man ?
Actually, while the statistic you quote is correct -- the salient study (the two have not been cross indexed) is whether or not he ejaculates regularly. A man who ejaculates daily (by whatever method, so sex or masturbation) is, according to several studies, only 50% as likely to die of any cause prior to the age of 59.

That may actually cause the other result.

Other factors may include that men alone are less likely to take care of themselves, eat right, etc.

Studies done of out homosexual men show no difference in mortality (once HIV is excluded) between gay and straight men. Which implies that the gender of the partner is unimportant -- and adds additional CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence that the actual protective agent may largely be ejaculation, combined with a better lifestyle for those who are coupled.

Kind thoughts,

There are many bachelors who live to ripe old age , including priests and the pope !! The thing that kills many single guys earlier than married is they do not know how to look after them selves and do not eat healthily . But that is not always the case many guys are good cooks and look after themselves very well
the only reason that has any grain of truth is because a married man is most likely safer overall. He has a family to provide for and wont take risks like a single man. Marriage is stupid. why spend the rest of your life with 1 person and ruin all the fun in life? stay single
Never heard such a thing! In any way, marriage is only a social construct thing. A lot of people who are not married, would still be having sex etc.
i dont think so
