My father is a Vietnam vet and my grandfather also served. How many on this site was or is married to a military person?
I was in the U.S. Army for 4 years. My husband was also in the Army. That is where we met. My brother is an officer in the Army now and stationed in Iraq. My father was A.F, his father was Army and my mom's father was in the Navy.
Celebrating 19 years in 6 days! Now, actually together married time... we all know that's a different story! LOL
No, i have not married to military person.
For the kids out there who might be taking a history exam....Agent Orange is not a form of cancer. It is a chemical used in Vietnam for removing foliage which is linked to causing some form of cancers and other abnormalities.
Yes, my husband retired from the Air Force a few years ago. I was also in the Air Force more than 20 years ago, and that's where we met.
I was in the service, my husband was in and went on to be an officer. My brother (Vietnam vet) died of the agent orange cancer too.
YES, I am a mil. spouse. Fortunately (for how much I love my husband) and unfortunately (this war is taking too many lives for nothing) he's in the service.
I was in, I was raised in the military, I married a man in the military. Everyone in my family served in one branch or another.

I'm sorry about your brother and your son in law.

Blessings to you
im a proud army wife
