Hillary was already a counsel to the Senate Watergate Committee before she married Bill, though after she'd met him and moved in with him. I suspect she would have married another politician, and possibly become Attorney General in a Democratic Administration.





But that Administration would not have been Bill's. There's no doubt in my mind he still would have been elected Governor of Arkansas. But the Presidency was only possible for him if he'd had a wife who could handle difficulties -- both his and their opponents' -- as well as Hillary did, and how many wives are like that? Perhaps Bill would have ended up in the Cabinet alongside Hillary, maybe as Secretary of Labor, or as Attorney General if Hillary were, instead, Secretary of Health and Human Services. Perhaps either could have been Secretary of Education.
Yes - Hilary made Bill. I love Hilary she is brilliant, smart, and has been marginalized by the powers that be.
