The question was asked about the marriage being a political agenda rather than a personal one and if it were still planned and Palin didn't answer it but changed the subject instead. I think because it is a personal question, and not even her personal question but her daughter's, who is no business of the media (read the Democratic party). It was a thoroughly tasteless and intrusive question aimed at demeaning and discrediting Sarah, and so blatant in its bias, it was shocking. She ought not to have answered it, as indeed she did not. And she was gracious enough not to complain of the toadish reporter who asked it, which I'm pretty sure none of you would have done, had you been in her position.


Get off the subject, already! Or are you afraid she'll be back to make your darlings look like the cheats and liars that they are?

Here's what I think: She did not answer the question cause it is nobody's business whether Levi wants to get married or not. The public should leave the poor boy alone and concentrate on more important things. Obviously the boy was conflicted at the beginning, and if he has flown the coop, well no one is putting a shotgun to his head.
Maybe so. How come Obama can answer the question about where his illegal campaign money came from, what is his relationship with William Ayers and Khalidi, why he is promoting socialism, etc. etc. etc. Let's stick to the issues, and Palin is obviously no longer an issue. Her daughter was not running for President.


What happen to her daughter very well could happen to any child at any time.There is no guarantee it will not.So it should not be an issue.

She probably didn't answer because she's tired of her family drama being splattered over the tabloids. I would be, too!
I believe her personal life and political life should not coincide.
