I married a 17 year old overseas legally. Would the marriage be recognized in the US to bring her on a K3 visa?

I'm a US citizen, and trying to get my 17 year old wife a K3 visa. Can I do that? Is our marriage recognized in the US?I married a 17 year old overseas legally. Would the marriage be recognized in the US to bring her on a K3 visa?
If you married in a country that does not allow marriages between persons under 18, your marriage is not legal there or in the US. If the country, where you married, allows marriage of persons under 18, then it's legal there and the US.

There are states in the US where marriage is legal at 16.I married a 17 year old overseas legally. Would the marriage be recognized in the US to bring her on a K3 visa?
i think you have to get a US marriage license/certificate...

and if she's not 18 yet, you'd have to have her parents sign the certificate.

it would probably be loads easier on you if you waited until she was 18 to bring her here, if that's at all possible...
Depends what country your wife is from. If shes from a country where marriage is not allowed til 18, you can not.
